An Explosive Summer Series with Cream Factory Records

May 19, 2010 - PRLog -- (Berkeley, CA) - Oakland-based Cream Factory Records is an independent label with a major appeal and a distinctive creative aura.  CFR has formed a relationship with Independent Distribution Collective (IDC) the revolutionary San Francisco-based music industry conglomerate, who will release and distribute the label’s catalog to retailers across the USA.  Founded by Michael and Cheryl Chambers on July 15, 2005, the “Factory” is making music that could change the perception of Hip-Hop, Gospel and R&B.

On May 28, 2010, Cream Factory Records “Presents Summer Series Vol. 1” at  The Black Repertory Theater in Berkeley, CA.  The series will include Salsa, R&B, and Hip Hop and with a musical explosion of 8 acts performing live with a House Band.  DJ Robbie will showcase music and talent from the TOWNBIZ soundtrack.  Artists on CFR’s upcoming BOOTCAMP Compilation, Tony Hall, DOS 4, Val-T, Yella Yezz, Incredible Drop Knock, Bay Area artists, Hazmat Boys and Neo-Soul and R&B sensations, LePlum and Elroy  will perform and make it a night to remember. Hosted MCs, Rocke III, Pharaoh Powell and Lothario Lotho will bring comedy and keep the show moving.  

The night starts off with a BANG! The VIP Pre-Party, Sip & Salsa, hosted by Oakland Raiders, Mario Henderson starts at 8 PM and kicks-off with salsa lessons, dancing, complimentary Mojito bar or Patron or Hennessy shot featuring and an amazing performance by Reggaeton artist, DOS 4.  

The doors at The Black Repertory Theater, located at 3201 Adeline, Berkeley, CA will open at 9:00 PM and the show starts at 10:00 PM.  Their will be general seating, 5.00 in advance, 10.00 at the door and 20.00 for VIP Pre-Party, Sip & Salsa.
