MGS Introduces NEW VersaFeed™ Bulk Feeder

May 18, 2010 - PRLog -- The VersaFeed™ is a linear belt feeder that utilizes a patent pending “V-Smart” belt system for improved product control. The system, with its gentle product-handling capability, virtually eliminates damage to products. This makes the VersaFeed™ ideal for handling a wide range of food items, industrial parts/components, and sealed flexible packages and pouches.

The VersaFeed™ can handle up to 600 parts per minute. The typical speed range for most applications is 30–300 parts per minute, depending on part characteristics.

In addition, the VersaFeed™’s small footprint frees up floor space and provides easy access to products. The “V-Smart” open design permits visual inspection during operation. Tool-less changeovers via an electronic recipe system take just minutes, and self-tensioning and tracking belts reduce maintenance requirements.
