Azingo Purchased by Motorola

May 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Recently Motorola has taken over (Bought) Azingo. Azingo has enhanced and has set up a Linux based operating system for smart phones. The company bought by Motorola had a head count of 200 engineers who are based in India. Azingo has performed quite well in UK as it had worked with Vodafone UK.

The OS that this company had made is named Azingo Mobile 2.0 operating system. This operating system is based on mobile platform of  Linux. It gives the handset makers a platform which they can prepare as per their requirement. Azingo OS gives the easy access to touch screen, a webkit mobile browser, SDK and it supports Adobe Flash. Motorola is still to declare this deal officially. But it is very certain that Motorola is going to enjoy a team and an operating system of its own.
