$olo Contendere - How to go Directly from Law School into the Practice of Law Without Getting a Job

May 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Attorney Marc Garfinkle, whose book, $olo Contendere - How to go Directly from Law School into the Practice of Law Without Getting a Job, is in its second printing, will be the featured speaker/trainer at the Missouri Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education Program, "Stepping Up and Stepping Out - The New Lawyer Experience."  

The presentations will be on October 15 in St. Louis and October 29 in Independence, MO.  Among other topics, Marc will discuss his "Ten Commandments of Defensive Lawyering."

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Garfinkle has written the popular "Hip-Pocket Guide to Testifying in Court", and the new "Lawyer's Hip-Pocket Guide to Appearing in Court".  On behalf of state and local bar associations, he lectures to audiences, particularly young audiences, on issues such as the juvenile justice system, sexual harassment, delinquency and gangs. He is annually a judge at Seton Hall University Law School’s John J. Gibbons Criminal Moot Court Competition, and the NJ state finals of the Knights of Pythias annual public speaking contest.
