Maryland Muslim Council Condemns Failed Bombing Attempt in New York

May 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Baltimore, Maryland: May 4, 2010: Maryland Muslim Council ("MdMC"), the statewide coalition of Muslim organizations in Maryland has condemned the failed plot to bomb Times Square in New York.

The Baltimore-based Islamic advocay group has applauded the efforts of the New York Police, FBI and other law enforcement agencies for their hard work in solving this crime that could have potentially caused the death of hundreds or thousands of innocent civilian men, women and children.

MdMC has also implored on President Obama, New York's Governor Paterson and the heads of all law enforcement agencies to ensure that the investigation continues in a fair and transparent manner and all efforts are made to prevent any racial, ethnic or religious profiling and harassment of American-Muslim men and women.
