May 1, 2010 - PRLog -- A large amount of free, unique content was added today to the Tutorial Guide to the Amazon WebStore (www.WebStoreGuide.com), created by frustrated WebStore merchant Gayla Groom. The 21-page pdf is called “Appendix C to the Tutorial Guide to the Amazon WebStore: Template Manager: Adventures in Widgets: Add a Content Page.”

According to Groom, Appendix C teaches skills Amazon WebStore merchants need to design their online stores. She says the tutorial on creating a content page shows “how to design the Amazon WebStore using widgets, how to use the WYSIWYG template editor, how to lay out a page using a table, how to make a link and anchor, how to add and edit graphics, how to make changes using HTML and CSS, for instance, changing your WebStore’s background color or link color, a bit about how to optimize your Amazon WebStore pages for search engines, and more.”

Groom says she wrote the latest content and the original 66-page Tutorial Guide (http://www.webstoreguide.info/?page_id=42) because the documentation provided by Amazon.com for its WebStore merchants is “sadly lacking. Since I had to figure everything out myself, I thought I’d write up what I learned in an organized way and share it so other people wouldn’t have to suffer.”

Appendix C is available at http://www.WebStoreGuide.info There is no cost or need to register.

I’m a writer and book editor, and when I realized I was going to have to figure out everything about the Amazon WebStore by myself, I decided to just go ahead and write up what I learned in a helpful organized way, and offer it free, so that others wouldn’t have to suffer.
