PRLog -- Since the blockbuster film "Avatar", 3D has once again become a hot topic. The three-dimensional visual experience stirs more emotions, opens new possibilities of presentation, and stands out from the everyday film, TV, or video experience. Al-though the principle is simple, the challenge of high-quality and convincing 3D is mastery of the details. tpc (tv productioncenter zürich ag), Switzerland's largest audiovisual provider, now offers its complete range of production services also in 3D – from conception to filming to finished 3D films. The Swiss broadcast specialists have already proven their competence in 3D with successful productions for Red Bull Media House, Mercedes-Benz, and a large combat sports event. The tpc 3D team makes use of all available systems for filming, including high-end cameras. With a mobile 3D postproduction unit (Quantel iQ Pablo) and experienced 3D specialists, tpc supports productions throughout Europe, even directly on site. The NAB Show, the world's largest fair for the broadcasting industry, held in Las Vegas this year, clearly showed that 3D is more than hype. So tpc has decided to display the key products and innovations from the fair on 20 May 2010 in an exposition at their own studios (Fernsehstrasse 1-4, 8052 Zurich). The event will include an exciting symposium with many interesting expert speakers on the topic of 3D. Register at info@tpcag.ch, de-tailed programmes will be sent.
