NSCS Announces Members of Alumni Advisory Board

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is pleased to announce the members of its inaugural Alumni Advisory Board.
 
April 28, 2010 - PRLog -- The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is pleased to announce the members of its inaugural Alumni Advisory Board.

The Alumni Advisory Board consists of ten notable NSCS alumni, including former chapter officers, National Leadership Council presidents, scholarship recipients and program participants. Each brings a unique perspective to the Board and serves as a model of achievement and service to the Society.

The Alumni Advisory Board members are:

•   Andrea Anstett, University of Michigan—Ann Arbor, (Class of  2010)
•   Erica Behrens, Winona State University, (Class of  2009)
•   Andrew Bruskin, Stony Brook University, (Class of 2009 )
•   Katie Captain, Auburn University, (Class of  2009)
•   Lydia Streit Cendana, West Virginia University, (Class of  2009)
•   Christopher Coen, Georgia Institute of Technology, (Class of 2009 )
•   Hesham Elnagar, Northern Arizona University, (Class of 2000)
•   Alexander Flowers, Roosevelt University, Schaumberg Campus, (Class of  2004)
•   Ciara Ginyard, Syracuse University, (Class of  2002)
•   Dave Jose, Providence College, (Class of 2007)

Board members provide their feedback periodically through conference calls, e-mails and other communication to strengthen NSCS’ alumni programs, network and the NSCS organization as a whole.

“These members have made a huge impact on NSCS during their undergraduate careers and since,” said Jim Duncan, Senior Director, Special Projects. “We are grateful for their continued involvement with NSCS and look forward to using their feedback to strengthen our alumni programs specifically and our organization in general.”

NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is the nation's only interdisciplinary honors organization to invite first and second year college students. NSCS has more than 625,000 members and 242 chapters in 50 states.
