Arizona State Senate Candidate Slams Governor Brewer for signing SB 1070

April 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Arizona State Senate Candidate Robert Hernandez McDonald Jr. (D-Mesa) came out today to slam Governor Brewer and SB 1070 Sponsor Russell Pearce calling this legislation a slap to all of Arizona and wrong.

Mr. McDonald said "Today is a sad day in Arizona History because we have allowed a racist piece of legislation to pass and become law." Mr. McDonald also stated that "It is important to stay calm and let the legal system work to over turn this travesty of law."

Mr. McDonald is currently challenging Mesa Republican State Senator Russell Pearce in the 2010 Election in November as the Democratic opponent.
