Games Workshop leases retail space in 3 Regency Centers’ shopping center locations in California

April 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – Regency Centers (www.regencycenters.com), a national owner, operator and developer of grocery-anchored and community shopping centers, has leased retail space to Games Workshop at three shopping centers in southern California. Games Workshop will lease 1,250 square feet of space at Park Plaza, 916 North Western Avenue in San Pedro, and 1,090 square feet of retail space at Morningside Plaza, 1000-1088 E Bastanchury Road in Fullerton. The retailer will also lease 969 square feet of space at Ventura Village, 5682 5688 Telephone Road in Ventura.

According to Aaron Keswick, Regency Centers’ leasing agent, Games Workshop is the largest and most successful tabletop fantasy and futuristic battle-games company in the world. The retailer is publicly traded and operates more than 340 company stores and through independent toy and hobby shops. “We are proud to welcome Games Workshop at Regency’s shopping centers in southern California,” said Keswick. “The international retailer will sell its full line of proprietary and licensed brands including books, games, hobby paints, soldiers, rule books, collectibles and accessories at the new store locations,” he said.   The stores are slated to open for business in June 2010.  The tenant was represented by Epsteen & Associates in these transactions.

Games Workshop store locations will accompany national and local retailers at Regency Centers’ shopping centers including Park Plaza, a 194,412 square foot shopping center which is anchored by a Ross Dress for Less, PETCO, Office Depot and Henry’s Farmers Market; Morningside Plaza, a 91,209 square foot shopping center which is anchored by a 42,630 square foot Stater Bros. and retailers such as The UPS Store, Subway and Baskin-Robbins, and Ventura Village, a 76,070 square foot shopping center which is anchored by a 42,500 square foot Vons supermarket and retailers such as Subway, Papa John’s and Fantastic Sams.  Park Plaza and Morningside Plaza are 94 percent leased and Ventura Village is
