Dental Practices Host Second Educational Seminar

April 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Hosting a second free dental implant surgery seminar proved to be a great idea for the practices of SAH Dentistry, Oral-Facial Surgical Associates and Treasure Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center.  The event, held at the beautiful Costa d’ Este Beach Resort on Wednesday, March 31st, brought more than 30 guests out to the barrier island in Vero Beach to hear several speakers talk about the options and advances in dental implant surgery.
The three dental offices coordinated the second event after hosting an initial one earlier in the month in St. Lucie West. Drs. Shawn Engebretsen, Federico Grande, Craig Stranigan, Ryan Askeland, and Brent Harris hosted the event and were very pleased at the response to this seminar. Dr. Craig Stranigan of S.A.H. Dentistry, St. Lucie West’s premier dental office, understands the interest.  “Dental Implant Surgery has evolved the past few years into a much more comfortable and affordable procedure”, he said. “However, there are still a lot of people who don’t know the many options available to them.  These seminars give folks an opportunity to ask questions in a more sociable environment.  And although our offices are located in St. Lucie County, we have patients from all over the Treasure Coast.  Hosting this free seminar in Vero Beach simply made it easier for our Indian River County patients to attend”, Dr. Stranigan stated.

The seminars are designed for anyone who has ever thought about or is considering dental implant surgery. Attending an open seminar of this nature is sometimes more comfortable for people who might be intimidated about asking questions in a one-on-one session, but who want to know if dental implant surgery is their best option. It allows people to be completely informed before they make an appointment for a private consult with their chosen dentist.

Topics discussed included single tooth replacement with implant, implant bridges, full mouth implant reconstruction, Teeth-in-a-Day and Teeth in-an-Hour procedures and stabilization of existing dentures using implants.

The first seminar, held in St. Lucie West, was attended by approximately 60 people.
