Bounce Aerobics- A Fun Alternative to the Typical Gym Atmosphere

April 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Rochester, NY (PR Log) – April 20, 2010-- Bounce Aerobics, Rochester, NY’s premier group fitness studio, will be opening a new and larger location inside Marketplace Mall in the town of Henrietta. The studio will offer group classes both day and evening for all interests and skill levels.

Bounce Aerobics was started in October 2009, and has been holding classes at various locations since its launch. They have gained quite a following and are happy to announce its move to the Marketplace Mall in May of 2010. The space will also offer a boutique for the purchase of various aerobic attire, fashion accessories, and nutritional beverages.

The idea behind Bounce Aerobics was developed by President and CEO, Christine Pilaroscia. While working at various national gym chains in the Rochester area as an aerobics instructor, she noticed that there were quite a few members paying for a full gym membership, while only visiting to take the classes. She opened Bounce Aerobics to offer individuals a full schedule of the most sought after group fitness classes. Christine wanted to open a studio where people could feel motivated and comfortable to get fit, while being not only affordable, but fun and exciting.

Group fitness is a great way for everyone to stay active and healthy while having fun doing it. The new studio will encompass a welcoming atmosphere along with a different kind of look and feel by adapting music and lighting specific to each class offered.

Bounce Aerobics features a wide range of classes from ZUMBA, Turbo Kick, Hip Hop, Pilates, Self Defense, and Tahitian Dance as well as specialty classes like Hoopnotica Hoopdance, Belly Dancing, and Chakroga. There are six certified instructors who make up the team at Bounce Aerobics, including Christine herself, as well as her sister Maria Ritzel, who is the co-owner, and mother Georgia.

“Bounce is different from other gyms because we get to know each of our members personally and want them to genuinely have a fun time while getting healthy,” says Christine.

Bounce Aerobics will be located in the Bon Ton wing of Marketplace Mall next to Dick’s Sporting Goods. The grand opening will be held on Saturday, May 1st 2010 at 8:30am, with a Slim-Down Challenge.
