New Look For Trevithick Day

April 19, 2010 - PRLog -- A Camborne business is unveiling its new look to coincide with Camborne Trevithick Day, commemorating Richard Trevithick’s use of steam in lesser known ways.

One Stop Kitchens has undergone a major refurbishment to its kitchen, bathroom and bedroom showroom at 20 Commercial Street in Camborne, which it will be unveiling to the public on Trevithick Day on the 24the April.  

With Richard Trevithick introducing the use of heat from ship’s boilers into their kitchens for cooking, One Stop Kitchens are delighted to be marking Trevithick Day.  They will be welcoming the public and hosting Macmillan cancer support - who will offer a range of family entertainment and activities including face painting, helium balloons and refreshments.

Gary Parks, son of the father and son partnership at One Stop Kitchens said, “We are delighted to be able to commemorate the use of steam in kitchens by unveiling our refurbished kitchen, bathroom and bedroom showroom on Camborne Trevithick Day.  We are going to use the opportunity to support a charity that is vital in our community as we are a long standing family business that has enjoyed many a Trevithick Day”.  

Mr Dalley, co-owner of Brides and Flowers based on Trelowarren Street in Camborne conceived Trevithick Day and was the the Chairman of the executive committee for 20 years, and is pleased to be a customer of One Stop Kitchens.

Mr Dalley said, “Trevithick introduced the use of steam from ship’s boilers to cook in their kitchens, so it’s apt that One Stop Kitchens are opening their doors and encouraging visitors on Trevithick Day.  They have an excellent reputation in the area and I’m pleased to see businesses in the town supporting this event”.

One Stop Kitchens first opened their showroom five years ago to design and install bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.  They have spent the last three months refurbishing their premises in response to a change in the way that people shop.

Housing a range of products, the stylish interior now displays a small number of “lifestyle sets” which demonstrate how they look and feel in the home.

Although the look has changed, the high level of service that One Stop Kitchens has built its reputation upon remains the same, which includes supplying products and designing rooms, through to decorating on completion. The stylish new way that the area is laid out reflects the company’s quality products, putting customers first with attention to detail.

Mr Parks continued, “We offer a service that is tailored to each customer, listening to what it is that they want and how they would like to use their space.  For example, with some customers we undertake the whole process, from design through to supply and fit, whilst others choose to remove their old bathroom for example, or fit the products themselves with back up from us”.

Following on from this change in interior, there are also exciting changes on the horizon which will take the Park’s business to a new level.  Plans will come to fruition in the next few weeks when we will unveil activities for the future.
