Cornish Crabbers Go Live

April 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Specialist classic boat builders, Cornish Crabbers, have launched a new and innovative website offering a variety of services, products and interactive opportunities. Prompted by the large online communities of Crabber enthusiasts, Cornish Crabbers decided to fully embrace web opportunities to create an online presence unlike any other. By combining an online shop, ‘boat builder’, social sites, brokerage, a news page and plenty of information about their boat ranges, Cornish Crabbers hope to provide an excellent service for existing owners as well as new customers.

Cornish Crabbers are famed for their beautiful range of traditional looking yachts which includes the Shrimper 19, the new Crabber 26 and the Pilot Cutter 30. However, the new site also offers full information about their sister range, Mystery Yachts, which are made to the same high standards and semi-bespoke specifications, but with a sleek and contemporary appearance. Any curiosity about a Crabber or Mystery yacht can be settled particularly well in the boat builder – aka the Specify My Boat section of the website, where a basic model can be chosen and a selection of additional extras added. The final specification, along with the cost, can then be emailed to the interested party for consideration (or fantasy).
Cornish Crabbers have always valued their loyal following and can now interact with their online fans directly. Cornish Crabbers have official pages on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, where enthusiasts can share photos, anecdotes, feedback, upcoming events, reviews and general sailing discussion with Cornish Crabbers and other fans and owners.

Cornish Crabbers are also opening an online shop which will be stocked with parts, accessories and merchandise so that boat owners can browse and buy at their convenience.  

For Cornish Crabbers, this is more than just a new website, this is a whole new way of doing business. Previously relying on phone enquiries to make sales, Cornish Crabbers have now boldly stepped into the world of ecommerce and web interaction. In 2009 the company came out of receivership under a new owner and saw a spectacular peak in sales shortly afterwards. Cornish crabbers have since maintained a busy order book. By continuing to innovate with their new boat, the Crabber 26, and providing an ever better service for their loyal following, Cornish Crabbers hope to maintain their remarkable success.
