Media Partners, Inc. (MPI) Steps out in Style with the 2010 Big Bad Ball Theme

April 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Raleigh, N.C. (April 8, 2010) – Sal Conino, MPI Partner, today announced the theme “Rhythm & Romance:  A little R&R” for the 2010 Big Bad Ball.  Capturing sophistication, while presenting an unmistakable icon, MPI introduced this year’s Black Tie and Red Stiletto.  

Presented by The Capital City Club’s Young Executives, the Big Bad Ball is an annual black tie gala benefitting Hospice of Wake County. Each year, the event raises upwards of $100k to support Hospice’s indigent fund, which provides necessary end-of-life care for those in need.

“When developing the creative elements for this year’s prestigious event, we felt it was important to leave a little to the imagination,” stated Conino.  “The elegance of a high-heeled red shoe, coupled with the dapper bowtie symbolized the theme we wanted to convey.  Simple, yet classy but there’s no mistaking:  there will be a party!”

The early elements of the Red Shoe Theme are now in production and the BBB website will adopt this look and feel in the coming weeks.  www.bigbadball.com will be launched this month to feature sponsors, provide event highlights and allow ticket purchase.  Silent auction item previews will also be available as the event approaches.

As the marketing partner, MPI’s creative team designed this year’s theme and tagline.  This look and feel will be conveyed on all collateral including posters, business cards, direct mail, e-mail, tickets, tabletops and event invitations.  Additionally, MPI will provide public relations and social media expertise to support all event efforts.
