JEH Productions Wins People’s Telly Award

April 8, 2010 - PRLog -- (San Antonio, TX - April 7, 2010):  JEH Productions has received a People’s Choice Award from the 30th Annual Telly Awards, which for over 30 years has honored the best in local, regional television production. JEH Productions, owned by Oscar-nominee and CEO Jackie Earle Haley, was awarded the Bronze People’s Telly on March 30th for its 2010 Alamo Bowl TV commercial spot “Big”.  

This is the fourth major industry award for JEH Productions in 2010, following the receipt of three ADDY Awards in February, including two Gold’s, for its work on “Big”, as well as for its SWBC spot “Rocket”.

“We’ve been fortunate to work on great projects with great partners, and we are all honored to have our work recognized by our peers as well as the larger viewing audience,” Haley explains.  “This is truly an exciting period of creative output for our studio.”

For Haley, the recent recognition for the work of JEH Productions coincides with his success on the other side of the camera.  Haley has received widespread critical acclaim this year for his haunting role in the Martin Scorsese film Shutter Island, his work on the Fox hit TV series Human Target, and the pre-release buzz surrounding of the new A Nightmare on Elm Street, where Haley stars in the title role of Freddy Kruger.
