Rocket Matter Announces the Addition of Legal Trust Accounting to their Signature Cloud Product

March 25, 2010 - PRLog -- BOCA RATON, FL – Rocket Matter®, the leading cloud legal practice management and time and billing solution for small to mid-sized law firms, today announced the addition of legal trust accounting and upgraded billing functionality to their signature product.

Rocket Matter users now have the ability to easily track and analyze client trust accounts. A new Billing Dashboard provides fingertip access and insight into the firm’s finances and well-being. These product enhancements facilitate quick answers to clients regarding the state of their accounts and matters. Additionally, a new permissions feature restricts access to sensitive information.

Rocket Matter’s User Experience Architect and Founding Partner, Ariel Jatib, worked closely with current customers and Practice Management Advisors (PMAs) at state bar associations to gain a better understanding of the issues many law firms face in managing trust accounts.

“After working with a number of people in the industry, my goals were two-fold,” stated Jatib. “The first goal was to help prevent common errors to ensure attorneys are in compliance with all regulatory requirements. The second goal was to create an easy-to-use, intuitive interface for managing client trust accounts. I am very excited that we achieved both goals.”

In addition to trust accounting, Rocket Matter made additional changes to their billing features, including:
•   Creation of Client Dashboards, including at-a-glance accounting information as well as a history of phone messages.
•   Addition of progress bar to Batch Billing, allowing high-volume firms to know when their invoice creation will finish.
•   Automatic online storage of Batch Billing zip files.
•   Ability to view lists of invoices run in previous batches.
