"We're aware that at this time of year many parents receive bad news regarding the allocation of a school place to their child, and are forced to go through a stressful appeals process or seek alternative arrangements," said Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International. "For many parents who have previously schooled their children privately, but have been unable to continue due to changes in circumstances brought about by the recession, it can be a particularly frustrating and upsetting process. The beauty of this co-operative arrangement, or a short-term contract for a family alone," Adam concluded, "is that the education of the child doesn't suffer whilst they remain on the waiting list for their preferred school, and the child will be able to resume their education in the school setting after having any weak areas addressed by the private tuition."
