France Telecom to buy 4% in TPSA

March 18, 2010 - PRLog -- Polish Press Agency reported that France Telecom would buy the 4% stake in Poland’s incumbent operator TPSA from the government.

Stephane Richard, new CEO of France Telecom, said : “Poland’s operations are fully consolidated within our global results, so from the financial point of view we don’t need to increase our engagement in TPSA. At the same time, we are content with our presence and our investments in Poland, and if there emerges a possibility to buy this 4% stake, we will look closer into it”

France Telecom currently owns 49.8% stake in TPSA
