Westlake High School in Austin, Texas to use AP Registration Service with TotalRegistration.net

March 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Westlake High School in Austin, Texas has a one of the largest AP programs in the United States.  This year, Westlake students will register online for approximately 3,000 AP exams using Total Registration’s AP Exam Registration Service.  Total Registration customizes a unique website for Westlake students, where they choose their exams from the list offered by the school.  Westlake students can then and can choose to pay for exams online with a credit card or pay the school directly with cash or check.  

The AP Exam Registration service, while providing a simple and fast method for students to register for exams, also saves significant time for Westlake administration.  Since students register themselves on line, the school’s AP Coordinator doesn’t have to hand-enter student information, exam rosters or other registration data.  Coordinators can also print a large number of reports directly from the school’s webpage with a single mouse click.  The increased accuracy afforded by the AP Exam Registration service can also save the school money by improving the exam ordering process with the College Board. Also, when students make credit card payments online for all exam fees, the payment is automatically entered and Westlake personnel are no longer responsible for the fee collection process.  

Total Registration, www.TotalRegistration.net, has partnered with RevTrak, www.revtrak.com, to provide credit card processing via Westlake’s own school web store.  The integration with RevTrak provides easy credit card payment using existing school accounts or provides for easy new account set up.

For the more than 3 years Total Registration has been providing high schools from coast to cost with AP exam registration services.  In addition to Westlake high, many other Texas schools have chosen to simplify the AP registration process with Total Registration this year.  Across the U.S. last year, more than 30,000 students registered for more 56,000 exams using Total Registration’s AP Service.
