Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, Shadow Minister for Community Cohesion, visited the headquarters of CPP Manufacturing Ltd in Coventry to see the work carried out by the company’s production team. CPP work for a range of automotive companies creating definitive models and recently announced that it would be making all of Spyker Cars’ Aileron supercar after the firm shifted production from Zeewolde in Holland. The company combines traditional, hand-crafted manufacturing techniques with state-of-the- “You do not get this level of skill anywhere else in the world,” said Brendan O’Toole, the managing director of CPP. “We are not producing large numbers of vehicles but low volume, definitive vehicles – as well as other products too. “The reason we exist is we remain flexible because our skilled workers can adapt more quickly than machines and that is of huge benefit to low volume production. “Since the Spyker announcement there has been phenomenal interest in the company and we are delighted with the interest being shown by politicians of all parties in manufacturing again. “Manufacturing does have a future in this country and we have plans for further growth here.
