March 6, 2010 - PRLog -- With DUIs on the rise in the Common Wealth of Virginia in 2008, SSV has introduced a new weapon to combat this growing trend.  The “B.A.C. Tester” is a new breathalyzer vending machine, which can be placed in nightclubs, bars and other places that serve alcohol.  For less than the cost of a draft beer a patron can test their level of intoxication at one of these new machines.

Sue’s Sweet Vending currently has several machines in operation that are producing results as high as 200 uses per month.  “We are now ready to market this machine to vending operators and bar owners globally”, says Sue Capra, owner of SSV.  “Our machines are US DOT and FDA approved, can be programmed to take several currencies, and sell for less than any other machine on the market”.

For bar owners these machines fit into the growing trend to serve responsibly.  For entrepreneurs the B.A.C. Tester presents opportunity to assist the community while making a profit at the same time.

So how does it work?  By using the same technology that law enforcement uses, these vending machines can accurately tell a patron their blood alcohol content.  The B.A.C Tester is a pay-per-use machine.  Individuals then insert a straw into the hole and blow.  In less than 10 seconds a breath sample is analyzed and a blood alcohol content number is displayed.

How accurate are these machines?  While no breathalyzer machine on the market claims to be 100% accurate, the margin of error for the B.A.C Tester is +/- .01%, which is above the industry standard.

Currently Sue’s Sweet Vending is seeking entrepreneurs to help distribute these machines to drinking establishments across the country.  For more information, please visit www.suessweetvending.com or call 804-681-0666.
