Art Summer Camp Programs at Lakeside Pottery Ceramic School & Studio, Stamford, CT

March 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Our Pottery / Ceramic Art Summer Camp programs are designed to provide children and teens with the experience of an actual professional pottery studio. During each weekly program, the students will learn to use the potters wheel, learn handbuilding / sculpturing techniques and glaze all of their projects that they will accomplish during the program. The projects are fun and creative and will be taught by our accomplished artist / teachers. No prior ceramics experience is required. Sessions begin June 21, 2010.

Our children programs were evaluated and are now offered by Darien and Stamford education departments and Stamford Museum & nature Center. We service all surrounding towns (Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Greenwich, Westport, Cos Cob and Norwalk, Fairfield, Pound Ridge NY).

Can enroll in one or multiple weeks. Snack (ages 8-11 only), material & firing fees included. $275 a week ($295 if adding toolset)

Learn the art of pottery through our ceramic art classes, using the potters wheel and ceramic sculpting, in a professional, spacious and well lit studio centrally located in Stamford, CT.

Instruction activities for children, adults and seniors include group classes (beginners and advanced), private lessons, after school art for kids programs and summer camp. Open Studio time can be purchased for independent work. Teachers professional development, corporate team building workshops, custom programs, birthday party events for children or adults and gift certificates are also offered. Our gallery include diverse handmade pottery work made by our instructors.
