Industrial Giants Congregate at IMI Job Fair at Indore More Than 5700 Students Gathered

March 3, 2010 - PRLog -- In what has provided management students, who graduated from IMI Indore, with an exciting opportunity for notching well paying dream jobs in Tata Steel, HDFC, Edelweiss, Teleperformance, Unichem, Reliance ADAG Group, Capital Via and Audi Automobile, these industrial and corporate giants were conspicuous by their presence at the IMI Job Fair, conducted on 22nd January 2010 at Indore, which turned out to be a congregation of big companies and an occasion when jobs rained for the aspiring graduates.

More than 5700 lucky graduates had participated for getting short-listed by these companies to work with them soon after completing their degrees, on this occasion. With a high profile job, a fat pay packet, irresistible perks and lot more awaiting them, these students are bound to have a bright future. Most of them would join these companies as soon as they complete their education. This is being considered as an appreciable development in the wake of growing unemployment rendered all the more grievous in the country by the disastrous effects of the global recession.

Excitement was palpable at the IMI (formerly Indore Management Institute) campus as these colossally known corporate organizations scanned the resumes of the students from different academic backgrounds, besides holding screening and interviews. Interesting job and recruitment trends were witnessed during this job fair. Aiming to be much ahead of others in terms of recruiting fresh graduates, Audi Automobile Company, has instilled hopes of better career prospects among more than 2000 students, whose resumes they have taken with them.

They will short list the promising candidates to work for them out of this list of 2000 probable freshers. Next in line is Capital Via, who short listed around 80 best candidates to work with them. The growing number of jobs in HDFC bank was evident from the fact that this organization short listed at least 60 candidates to come and directly work with them. However, Reliance ADAG Group was a step ahead of HDFC as it selected around 70 students to work with them directly on the completion of their training with IMI.

Unichem is another company, which has selected 44 students to come and work with them. Besides these, there are other companies as Splash and Teleperformance, which have also selected quite a few candidates for jobs in their companies. The names of the candidates short listed by these companies have been posted on the website of IMI Indore www.imi.ac.in.
