Informal SEO Certification Test Announced - Get SEO Certified by JM Internet Group

Students of the JM Internet Group can now test their SEO knowledge in a series of step-by-step tests measuring topics such as keywords for SEO, the best HTML seo page tags, link-building, rank checking, and even Google Analytics. In addition, non-students can take the test and gain access to the answer key.

"We've had many requests for SEO Certification," explained Senior SEO Director Jason McDonald. "While we do not provide formal SEO certification, we thought it wise to create an online test for our students so that they could test their SEO knowledge after taking our 7-session classes on SEO. In addition, non-students have asked for a similar online test."

SEO CERTIFICATION - TEST SECTIONS

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is of course about getting to the top of the free listings on Google, Yahoo, and Bing. The test proceeds through these sections:

       * Keywords - what are the nuances of good SEO keyword strategy?
       * Page Tags - which tags matter, and which do not?
       * Links / Link Building - how do you measure your inbound links and create an effective link strategy?
       * News - how can news be used to enhance your SEO?
       * Website Structure - what are the best 'Google-friendly' website structures?
       * Metrics - what techniques can be used to use metrics to measure your success, and point out areas in which you 'need to improve'?

Even for those not interested in SEO Certification, the test can be used to highlight the most important topic areas. In addition, an answer key is provided as well as copy of the student's test, so that test takers can compare and contrast their answers with the preferred answer. Finally, the test is an on-going poll of the SEO community and thereby measures the community opinion of the 'right answers.'
