Ideal DVD Copy v3.2.3 can automatically updated to copy new DVDs

Feb. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Ideal DVD Copy version 3.2.3 is just released. For registered user, the upgrade is free. Users may download it from http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/dvd-copy.htm . And you needn't uninstall the existed version, just installing the new version over it, doing so may retain your registration code and configuration. However, when updating, you should close Ideal DVD Copy first, then double click the new setup file to install it to avoid any issue like "Code 5" error.

The new version includes all fixes for the recent protected DVDs, such us "Everybody's Fine", "Saw VI", "Surrogate", "The boys are back", "District 9", "Star Treck", "Transformer 2", "Gamer", "G-Force", "UP", "Paranormal Activity" etc.

In this version, Ideal DVD Software improved the decryption function. For those DVDs whose size is larger than 10GB, before copying, Ideal DVD Copy will first scan the whole structure of the DVD to parse its protection. This method works on most DVDs. If it still failed on a particular DVD, you need send all the .bup files of the original DVD to them to fix it.

They also added automatically update anti-copy protection module feature in this version. In the past, if there's a fix for a new DVD, they will only update the setup file on the web page without notifying users since it's only a minor fix, so users need to check their website from time to time. In version 3.2.3, you needn't check it again and again. After launching this version, it will prompt you to enable this feature or not, just click "Yes", then it will check if there's a new fix on their website, and then download the update automatically every time Ideal DVD Copy opens. You also can click "Check update" from the menu to update Ideal DVD Copy manually, especially when you failed to copy a DVD. But attention, your anti-virus or firewall software will reminds you when Ideal DVD Copy is trying to connect the internet, you should allow it to finish the update.

Besides the above new features, they did some minor fixes and improvements in version 3.2.3. Fox example, they improved "Main movie only" backup feature to fix "black screen" issue in chapter 1 in some special DVDs. If you still meet the same issue, you may send the .bup files both from the original DVD and copied one to them.
