In 2000 bought the lease of the property and redesigned it. It is tough to get reservations in this joint, but once you are inside you will be all praise for the food and wine.

The lunch menu in this restaurant Rancho, San Diego is known for its specialties like chilled cucumber soup, lobster bisque, soup of Italian parsley, garden salad with champagne vinaigrette and grilled Alaska halibut. This is just to name the few. Among the main entrees you will have the medallions rabbit loin, prime beef 8 oz hamburger, the seared sea scallops along with calamari and shrimp. The extensive platter will be incomplete without the mention of Wiener schnitzel of Strauss farm veal, grilled local sword fish and venison saddle with d’anjou pear.
   
The Mille Fleurs bistro is known for its extensive menu which comprises delights like black Prince Edward Island mussels wheat beer along with chive, cream sauce and blue cheese.
