Sun-Times Media At Nonna Silvia's Trattoria and Pizzeria in Park Ridge, heart-shaped pizzas are a Valentine's tradition -- ever since a customer requested one for his wife nine years ago, said owner and chef John Giannini. The popularity of Valentine-themed pizzas is booming. Giordano's, Lou Malnati's and other area pizzerias offer their own heart-shaped versions. At Nonna Silvia's, Giannini calls his concoctions "food art." "The dough is our canvas, the sauce is our paint," he said. Don't like pizza? Don't worry.
