Feb. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Minneapolis – February 11, 2010 – Edge Legal Marketing, a Minneapolis-based marketing and public relations firm serving the needs of companies targeting the legal market, reported that The Edge Room™ (www.TheEdgeRoom.com) – a virtual press room – at LegalTech New York 2010 attracted and retained more media and exhibitors than in years past. LegalTech New York is the leading trade show and conference for the legal technology industry and is produced by ALM.

More than 200 exhibitors uploaded press releases, company documents, white papers, and brochures. The editors, writers, bloggers and thought leaders in this industry access this information to plan their LegalTech stories, booth visits, and vendor interviews.

Over 235 media representatives had access to The Edge Room in the weeks leading up to and during the show, which represents a 70 percent increase over 2009. “You cannot get a more direct information pipeline for an industry trade show or event than The Edge Room,” commented Amy Juers, Founder and CEO of Edge Legal Marketing.

This year Edge Legal Marketing added social media features to The Edge Room. When LegalTech New York exhibitors upload press releases and other documents to The Edge Room, they had the option to allow their announcements to be uploaded to its blog (http://theedgerooom.blogspot.com/), Twitter (http://twitter.com/theedgeroom) and LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com/in/theedgeroom) sites. “Social media is an additional way for marketers to get their brand and news in front of the media and potential clients. The Edge Room is a press room of the future and by keeping digital information digital and leveraging the web, it provides a much further reach for company news and announcements,” continued Juers.

The Edge Room will be available for the June 23-24, 2010, LegalTech West Coast trade show.
