Alabama Collectibles by Steiner Sports Sets Online Auction for 'A' Logo Carpet, Other Collectibles

Feb. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- The historic Bryant-Denny Stadium locker room carpet, featuring the renowned “A” logo and revered among Alabama Crimson Tide fans, will be auctioned off on line presented by “Alabama Collectibles by Steiner Sports,” with the winning bidder having the luxury of showcasing the historic floor piece in their own home. This authentic carpet was used in the locker room for four Crimson Tide seasons, from 2006-2009.  Truly an emblem of the school’s pride, players are only permitted on the circle "A" logo carpet during  pre- and post-game speeches, the singing the Alabama fight song after victories, and prayer before and after the game. This team-first philosophy helped Alabama capture its 13th National Championship this past year.

There have been many memorable victories at Bryant-Denny Stadium during the four years of the carpet logo, including 2007’s wins against Arkansas (41-38) and Tennessee (41-17). And who can forget the 2008 shutout of Auburn (36-0) or the impressive 2009 wins against Tennessee (12-10) and LSU (24-15).
