Putting the FUN into FUNdraiser: A 1990's Themed Charity Event 2/12.

Feb. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Alessandra Andersen, a member of Team in Training, is throwing a 1990's themed party at Club 740, with all proceeds to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (otherwise known as the LLS) raises funds to benefit the research in curing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood diseases. Team in Training is a resource of the LLS, wherein individuals from all over the United States may participate in triathlon races to raise awareness, but first must meet a $5,000 goal in order to compete.

In hard economic times, Ms. Andersen decided that the best way to meet her fundraising goal was to throw a party!

My So-Called 90s Fundraiser will take place on Friday, February 12th at Club 740 of downtown Los Angeles. A 21+ event, a $10 door donation will be required for entry.

Guests can expect to hear the best (and worst) of hits from the 1990's, participate in a "Most Authentically dressed" 90s costume contest and enjoy reasonably priced drinks until 1am!
