HB Drums Announces New Professional Electric Drum Kit

Jan. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- The electric drum industry may have finally come of age.  Dave Moody, founder of HB Drums and industry veteran of over 30 years made the following observation on the drum industry:  
"We feel the market interest shifting to electric drums with the entry to mid level drum buyers and a trend toward mass acceptance of electronic drum kits as main stream.

There will always be the need for acoustic drum sets however the cool factor in electric kits has finally arrived.  The pro drummers have used electric kits for years beginning with Lynn drum & syndrums and more recently Roland and Yamaha brands.  These companies have created groundbreaking innovations yet only the pros or well to do clients could purchase until recently.  With the amazing onset of rock band, ipods, games, etc., the fear of a technological learning curve appears to have lifted with electric drums and the cost has plummeted to extremely affordable levels."  

The HB Drums representative explained that there is virtually no need for setup.  Mr. Moody explained, "consumers don't want a tedious setup process so we've made it right from the box,ready to rock status in less than 10 minutes."

Mr. Moody projects the retail price to be less than $700 stating that the new HB Drums electric kit has more features as brands selling for thousands of dollars just
a couple of years ago. "We're currently reducing our acoustic drum inventory with direct to consumer sale to shift some of our focus on the electric kits", states Mr. Moody.
