Amizade: Jazz duo Jeremy Powell and LaRue Nickelson release CD

Jan. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Saxophonist Jeremy Powell and guitarist LaRue Nickelson of Tampa Bay have independently produced their collaborative CD release Amizade  (meaning friendship in Portuguese).

Both virtuosos are multidimensional and equally share appreciation for each others talent which is demonstrated by their quiet studio set while trading selections from each others catalogs.  The overall feel of the recording is a decidedly solitary and tranquil collaboration, which offer warm melodies and hints of Brazil such as “Ed’s Tune” and “Felicidade” respectively.
