Also did you know that more than 50% of all updates are published using tools, mobile, web-based, other than Twitter.com. So this leads Marc Ward's top 10 tools that he use's for his Twitter account. Now don’t forget these are the tools that Marc use the most for his account..

10:  Twitter to Facebook app

This saves me so much time when it comes to posting updates to your Facebook profile. By just posting your updates on Twitter it also updates your Facebook status.

9: Tweetreach.com

How far did your tweet travel? This is a great little tool which tells you interesting facts on your tweets. It will give you pie chart results on how many people saw your tweets, how many people retweeted it and also how many people replied to your tweets. If you are posting tweets on Twitter you can see the ones that are getting noticed and which ones are not.

8: Tweetmeme.com

As you might notice on some blogs, there is a little button at the top of the page called the Tweetmeme button, so if you like what you are reading and go and hit that button it will then share that post to your Twitter followers. But apart from that if you go to the Tweetmeme web site you can learn who is getting the most retweets in the Twitter world.

7: UberTwitter (for Blackberry phones)

This is a great Blackberry app, its like the Facebook app where if you get a direct message or someone @ you, you will then receive a notification on your mobile. Out of all the Twitter apps you can get for your Blackberry phone, this is the best

6: Tweetdeck

If you like things organised when it comes to your Twitter account then Marc highly recommends this. TweetDeck is your personal browser for staying in touch with what’s happening now, connecting you with your contacts across Twitter, Facebook and more. TweetDeck shows you everything you want to see at once, so you can stay organised and up to date

5:  Huitter Message Cleaner

There is two great tools on this site and one is Message Cleaner. At the moment there is not a bulk delete direct messages button on Twitter, you can only delete one message at a time. With this tool you can bulk delete your messages which takes no time to do.

4: Twittercounter

This tool just came out of nowhere in the past few months. If you like statistic’s then this is the site for you.

3: Huitter Unfollow

This is the other great tool from Huitter, it can bulk unfollow or those people who are not following you back.

2: Social Oomph

This tool came a close 2nd in my top 10, it can almost do everything when it comes to tweeting on Twitter. It can help you target who to follow, who not to follow and much, much more.
