The difference is that a Magic Mic is simply a microphone with karaoke functions, such as featuring thousands of embedded songs. This configuration makes them light and portable. However, even before the Wow Magic Sing and Xtreme Magic Sing became popular in the Philippines, there is another brand which is said to be the first Magic Mic to be introduced in the Philippines. This is the Magic Sing microphone. Magic Sing is the first portable karaoke microphone. It is manufactured by Enter Tech and was introduced in 2000. The first completely wireless Magic Sing microphone ED-11000, which was released in 2006. The latest Magic Sing is the EG-18000 which comes with 2 wireless microphones and a 35 foot range. Enter Tech first introduced the Magic Sing in the Philippines through the help of a printing company, In-A-Jiffy Printing. It was in 1999 that In-A-Jiffy Printing started selling portable videoke in the Philippines through financing the sourcing of the portbale videoke microphone from Enter-Tech (ET) of korea, which carry the brand FAMAX, Magic Sing along, Any Sing among others. In-A-Jiffy started importing dirctly from Korea in 2000. These types of Magic Sings is then used to promote tourism by showcasing tourism spots as picture background. Department of Tourism and WOW Magic Sing agreed to cooperate in this endeavor to take advantage of the portability of the device to advocate awareness to tourism. Eventually, In-A-Jiffy Printing started to sell their own brands of Magic Sing, the Wow Magic Sing. According to many professionals, the Wow Magic Sing is considered today as the best brand of Magic Mic in the Philippines. Through its success, In-A-Jiffy changed its name to In-A-Jiffy Enterprise (IAJE). Soon, other brands such as its main competitor, Xtreme Magic Sing, have started to show up in many parts of the Philippines. End
