Blue Chip Vacations Appoints New Head of Property Portfolio

Jan. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- In this newly-created position Philip will be responsible for achieving Blue Chip Vacations’ ambitious plans to further expand its range of high-end properties across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset, while embarking on a new drive to build an industry-leading choice of luxury holiday homes in the Cotswolds.

Commenting on the appointment Alan Taylor, Managing Director of Blue Chip Vacations, said: “2009 has been a record year for the business; bookings rates are up almost two-thirds on the same period of last year, and the ‘Staycation’ phenomena has led to healthy forward bookings for 2010.

“We believe that now is the right time to bring in a property sector heavyweight who can accelerate our quality holiday home acquisition programme.   Philip will be expanding his team of Property Managers over the course of the next two years to achieve this and will be liaising directly with estate agents, developers and owners at the highest levels to meet the growing demand from our customers for an even wider selection of locations and properties across the West Country.
