PhotoSoftwareNews.com Launches with Products from 200+ Vendors

Jan. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- UK-based Technology Relations has launched PhotoSoftwareNews.com, the world's first major online guide to photo software. It is accompanied by a companion, start-page site called PhotoStartSheet.com, from which anyone interested in photography -- or working as a pro photographer -- can browse the Internet.

The two sites have been developed by John Lewell, author of "The Digital Photographer's Software Guide" and the forthcoming "Digital Photography for Next to Nothing" (John Wiley & Sons, April 2010). He previously developed Internet ProductWatch, an index to commercial Internet products.

PhotoSoftwareNews.com has a directory of hundreds of photo software products in dozens of categories, such as Image Editors, Color Tools, iPhone Photo Apps, Photo Workflow Software, Image Rescalers, Digital Scrapbooking Software, Depth-of-Field Tools, Downloaders, Noise Reduction Software, Sharpening Tools, and many other types of photo software. Some categories contain products that appeal primarily to professionals, whereas others have software for users of point-and-shoot cameras.

PhotoStartSheet.com, the companion site, has over 250 links to the top photo directories, photo communities, model agencies, trade shows, competitions, and more. There is even a selection of general interest sites so that photographers can use it as a convenient start page for exploring the Internet.

PhotoSoftwareNews.com and PhotoStartSheet.com are fully integrated but they have separate domains because they are intended to meet different needs. Whereas PhotoSoftwareNews.com has over a thousand pages of information, PhotoStartSheet.com is a single page with minimal graphics for the fastest possible access to the world of photography online.
