MVP Studios Donates $5400 in Free Photos to Wounded U.S. Marines

New "Brave Hearts" program recognizes our Nation's heroes by donating free photo packages to service members

Dec. 31, 2009 - PRLog -- In November MVP Studios announced that they would be donating free photo packages to U.S. Marines who have received the Purple Heart or a medal for valor in combat.  According to Andy Stockglausner, President of MVP Studios, that program was a huge success.  In just 4 weeks MVP donated 143 free photo packages to these deserving Marines with a total value of over $5400.
"When we announced the program last month, we had no idea it would be as successful as it was", said Stockglausner, "when we tallied the total after our last Marine Corps Ball, we were excited to see we had donated 143 packages".  MVP Studios is a Marine Corps Ball photographer and they photographed 30 Balls this year between October 22nd and November 20th.  Every year the Marine Corps holds Marine Corps Balls around the world to celebrate the birthday of the Marine Corps, which is November 10th, 1775.  "I knew that we would donate a lot of packages because we were shooting 30 different events", Stockglausner continued, "I had guessed that we might donate 50 or so, but when I realized we donated 143, I was really happy".
One of the staff members working at the Balls stated, "Andy showed us what the medals looked like so we were able to look for them [the medals] on the Marine's chests".  She continued, "What impressed me the most was how grateful the Marines were when we told them they could pick out whatever package they wanted for free, one Marine's wife even cried".  MVP Studios has received thank you notes from multiple people.
Andy Stockglausner is a former U.S. Marine who served from 1993-1997 and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA.  "I didn't see any combat when I was in the Corps so I have no idea what these Marines have experienced", he stated, "I am just glad we were able to give a little something back to them for all they do for our great country".
Starting in January, MVP Studios will be providing free family photos for Service members who meet the same criteria.  "We are expanding the Brave Hearts program next month and we will be doing free family photos for these warriors, they will get a complete photo session and get to keep a CD with all of the images with a complete copyright release for free".  Details on the MVP Studios Brave Hearts program will be announced in the coming weeks.
