Ladies and Gentlemen thank you for coming and celebrating this special event in my live and most importantly my daughters life. Today we come together to unite two wonderful people in a forever lasting courtship of love and friendship.

When I think about my little girl getting married it reminds me just how really old I am. They grow up so fast don't they? I still remember the day when we went to the park together and I could hoist her above my head and swing her around until we both got dizzy and fell to ground laughing all the way down. Those precious memories I will always cherish and never forget how lucky I am to have a daughter like Alexis. She always has a positive attitude and a kind heart. She takes after her Father I presume.

I remember 25 years ago when I met the love of my life and just knew I would marry her. True love is hard to find and I am happy to pronounce my daughters new found love with Jeff. When I first met Jeff I saw a young man ready and eager to take on the world. The fortitude and strong will of his character assured me that he was the one for her. I know in my heart that he will cherish and love her forever as I have done.

At this time I would like to welcome my new extended family with an open heart and open arms. I look forward to spending time with you and getting to know all of you. Again, thank you all for coming and I enjoy the rest of your evening. Please join me in a toast to the bride and groom.
