Dec. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- The Baltimore-based company markets fashion shoes and boots for women who wear size 10 or larger (www.BarefootTess.com).  Its tag line is, “Because style doesn’t stop at size 10.”

Peck, who as head coach led Purdue to the 1999 NCAA women’s basketball championship, currently appears on-air for ESPN as a leading women’s basketball game and in-studio analyst.  At 6’ 4” tall and with a flair for style, Peck will be featured on Barefoot Tess’ website and make appearances on behalf of the company.

“I’m thrilled to endorse Barefoot Tess,” Peck said.  “When your shoe size is larger than average, it’s challenging to find beautiful footwear.  Barefoot Tess offers a wide selection, and I can shop with ease from my laptop, even when I’m on the road.”

Karen Williamson, founder and president of Barefoot Tess, stated, “We are very excited to have someone of Carolyn’s stature as our spokesperson.  She combines integrity with a superb sense of style.  We’re looking forward to a winning partnership with Carolyn as our brand ambassador.”

Peck was signed to a three-year deal.

More about Barefoot Tess: Barefoot Tess is a company with one simple goal: to provide the world's best women’s shoes available in sizes 10-15.  Historically women with larger shoe sizes have been neglected by shoe outlets and footwear designers alike.  Barefoot Tess offers fabulous shoes by designers consumers covet, in the styles they crave and in the sizes they wear.  Not only do they partner with high-end designers to produce exclusively for Barefoot Tess, but the company also has a Barefoot Tess private label.  Barefoot Tess believes that all women have the right to strut in style - regardless of shoe size.
More about Carolyn Peck: Peck was a basketball standout at Vanderbilt University.  She went on to coach in the college ranks, highlighted by being named National Coach of the Year by the Associated Press and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association when Purdue won the NCAA title in 1999.   Prior to joining ESPN, Peck served as head coach and general manager for the WNBA's Orlando Miracle (1999-2001) and then head coach at the University of Florida (2002-2007).
