Dec. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- 40 campaigns were shortlisted for the vote by leading a panel of digital experts to take part in the vote. The judges are Hugo Drayton, CEO Inskin, Gareth Jones, Editor Revolution, Jason Goodman, founder Albion, Martin Bailie, Glue, Ajaz Ahmed, founder AKQA and Jimmy Maymann, CEO at GoViral, who are organising the vote.

With voting closing on 19 December 2009, ‘Experiments with Mentos’ is being closely followed by John West’s Bear campaign from 2000 in second place and Dove – Evolution by Ogilvy Toronto in third.

There is still time for the leader to change with plenty of other campaigns in the running. Tourism Queensland’s Best Job in the World, Burger King’s Subservient Chicken, Will it Blend and Quicksilver’s dynamite surfing are all still in contention.

The shortlist of game changers, celebrating the end of the first digital decade of advertising, have been chosen for the way that they have shaped the industry as well engaged and entertained consumers.

Jimmy Maymann, CEO GoViral, said: “Over the last ten years we have seen a huge amount of innovation in the way companies are using the internet to get their message across, everyone has their favourite campaign so the game changers should inspire debate and more importantly creativity into the next decade.”
