Davis found a new job, but it turned out to be right at InfoCision. She was recently promoted to her current job as program supervisor after following InfoCision’s Career Progression Path for communicators, which was specifically developed to help communicators progress through various job roles to become a member of the call center supervisory team, if they are willing to work hard and are motivated to learn the business of call center operations. “If you really work hard at InfoCision and show your dedication, the company will reward you when openings come available,” said Davis. “The other supervisors have all been very supportive in encouraging me to pursue my opportunities to advance. I knew the career progression could work because we have examples of people throughout the company who have moved up; including the director of the media division, who also started as a communicator.” InfoCision’s Career Progression Path is designed to help the company recognize employees who stand out from the crowd and have the potential to be future leaders. InfoCision has a strong history of hiring from within to fill open positions. For instance, company president and CEO Carl Albright started his career as an entry-level supervisor in an InfoCision call center, and several other executives started out with the company as communicators some years ago. The result has been an atmosphere where high level employees understand the specific roles of employees under their supervision, and a generally happier staff that knows it has the potential to advance. In fact, InfoCision’s turnover rate is among the lowest throughout the teleservices industry. “Our Career Progression Path has been very successful over the years and helps to keep InfoCision strong as a company because we are able to identify our top performers and keep them working here by expanding their roles and responsibilities,” Communicators who follow the Career Progression Path advance next to the role of trainer, where they help new communicators learn how to use InfoCision’s systems and develop the phone skills to be successful. The next promotion is to program supervisor, which brings with it the responsibility of supervising a team of communicators to make sure they are achieving strong results for InfoCision’s clients on calling programs. InfoCision has recently rewarded several employees who started as Communicators throughout the company, with promotions to supervisory roles “InfoCision gives you the tools to succeed and advance your career if you are willing to put in the time and effort,” said Chad Gridley, a newly promoted program supervisor at InfoCision’s Austintown, Ohio location. “I’ve been promoted twice in four years, and I think that’s pretty good for someone who had no prior experience in the teleservices industry. It definitely took hard work on my part, but it’s also a testament to how InfoCision prepares its employees to succeed and provides opportunities to take on new challenges.” The opportunities to be promoted at InfoCision are limitless and all job openings are posted internally first, allowing current employees the opportunity to apply for any available position before it is advertised outside the company. “It’s great to know you are working for a company that notices hard work and encourages you to keep getting better, so I’m definitely not going to stop pushing myself now,” said Davis. “I thought this was going to be a temporary job for me and it turned into a career where I enjoy coming to work every day. There is really a family atmosphere at InfoCision, and the company offers great benefits and programs that show employees they really care.” # # # About InfoCision: Founded in 1982, InfoCision Management Corporation is the second largest privately held teleservice company and is a leader in customer care services, commercial sales and marketing for a variety of Fortune 100 companies and smaller businesses.
