The National president of the ATA, Tim Searcy, was the guest speaker. Tim addressed the group and offered significant insight to the FCC/FTC legislative process and federal agendas for 2010. Mr. Searcy was also on hand to deliver a special thanks to Don Williams, President and Owner of Alliance Direct Marketing Services, for his 3 year term as the ATA South Central chapter president. Mr. Williams was presented with an award and gift to show appreciation for his outstanding effort over the years.

Call center leaders and vendors alike participated in the special holiday session. One of the many focuses of the ATA is to help promote a positive image of the call center industry. The executives attending the December 3rd meeting showed their support for the community by donating canned goods to the Red Bag Food Drive, hosted by Altrusa DFW. Hundreds of food items were collected for distribution on December 3rd.
In addition to the food drive, participants during the meeting wrote personal holiday greeting cards for the troops. Over 100 holiday cards were gathered and mailed to the men and women fighting for our country. Call Center Care pins were presented to all members and guests.
