Battaramulla, December  01, 2009. THE EXTERMINATORS (PVT) LTD, Sri Lanka’s premier Pest Control Company awarded for business excellence at the prestigious National Business Excellence Awards 2009 held at Hilton Colombo on the 26th of November 2009 organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.

The company received the Silver Award for the small category and also the National Merit Award for the other service sector category.  This is the 1st time we participated in such an event, it is indeed significant that we were awarded. Marlon Ferreira CEO of The Exterminators further stated that “the foundation of their organization is integrity and teamwork is the strength and excellence is our GOAL” We have been rewarded for what we represent.

The Exterminators (Pvt) Ltd is one of the few companies in the pest management industry in world to have both the ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2000 standard. The standard covers quality management systems and environmental management systems for the provision of Pest Control Services, Termite Control Services & Fumigation Services. The Exterminators (Pvt) Ltd is setting a benchmark in the pest management industry in Sri Lanka by implementing IPM- Integrated Pest Management System to minimize the use of chemicals to the environment and also introduce non chemical pest control methods in the island.
