INDUSTRIOS knocks out the competition as the manufacturing solution for Sage Accpac ERP

Nov. 20, 2009 - PRLog -- Oakville, Ontario - IndustriOS Software is pleased to announce that it has won a new contract with Daytech Limited, North America’s leading manufacturer of transit and bike shelters, canopies and kiosks. Daytech selected our manufacturing and  operations solution INDUSTRIOS to manage all aspects of their make-to-order and configure-to-order business where they manufacturer shelters with many interchangeable components using unique extrusions that simplify assembly and ensure fast installation.

Daytech had several key requirements INDUSTRIOS was able to meet that set it apart from the competition. The aluminum parts in Daytech’s shelters are powder-coated in an ISO-9001 facility, considered by many to be the finest facility of its kind in North America. The subcontractor functionality offered by INDUSTRIOS provided the tracking and control mechanisms Daytech required to ensure these parts were sent out and received back in time to meet their production deadlines along with keeping accurate subcontract costs on each job, quickly, easily and seamlessly.

The Daytech team expects to improve operations and save considerable time through the functionality offered by INDUSTRIOS and Sage Accpac ERP. Immediate savings will come from the Subcontract Workbench, quoting that allows them to embed production plans into a quote and modify as needed, and having packing slips that itemize the components shipped with a finished product so the items can be verifi ed at the location of the on-site assembly.
