-- FinanceGregory Humes is the president of NLM, an organization headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, and a pioneer of Web-based technology to streamline the logistics and supply chain processes. He has been in this capacity for nearly four years and on a daily basis he provides oversight of the company’s finances and cooperates with officials in the banking community to organize contracts. He has over twenty-six years of experience in officer-level positions leading logistics and supply chain industry organizations, delivering solutions that eliminate waste, improve efficiencies and lower costs thereby creating value. He received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Western Michigan University, his MBA from Central Michigan University and is looking to complete his owner/president management degree from the prestigious Harvard Business School within the next year. In addition to his responsibilities for NLM, Greg also devotes his time to the Shanghai Economy Development Group, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Michigan State University Supply Chain Council, and other schools of Harvard University. His accomplished career is directly caused by his hard work, dedication, support from his family, and building strong, cohesive teams. Greg also manages to set time aside to give back to the community and frequently volunteers for the Word of Life Christian Church and the American Cancer Society. In his leisure he enjoys boating, playing and watching sports and activities with his family and in the future he hopes to develop more creative solutions to impact the industry.
