By: Fluid Research The Triton fluid dispensing system incorporates proprietary microprocessor control systems to accurately meter, mix, and dispense two part materials with extreme precision, featuring easily programmed ratios, sizes, and rates. Programmable ratios and dispense rates are also available in continuous run mode. Fluid Research’s Triton family of dual component tabletop systems offers superior performance. These dispensing systems incorporate patented state of the art controls to accurately meter and mix almost any two part material. Programming unique ratios, shot sizes, and dispense rates is as easy as a few keystrokes. Employing Fluid Research's Stat-a-Seal™ The Triton family of systems is designed to be a convenient tabletop model, with a compact footprint, making it ideal for prototyping, laboratory, or small part production. All of the Triton family series use Fluid Research’s micro-processor controlled servo drive and offer the choice of economical gear pumps or progressing cavity pumps. Triton family systems deliver smooth, accurate shots or continuous material flow, as well as accurate material volume and A:B ratio control. Optional recirculation, agitation and auto-purge for filled materials are available. The Triton family can store up to 15 timed (specified quantity) or 10 continuous flow rate programs, giving the user the flexibility to change the dispense as needs change. "The new Triton has been received by customers with praise," said Stephen Gordon, VP of Engineering for Fluid Research. “The capabilities of this machine are truly unbelievable. From the quantity of distinct dispensing programs to the features available, the Triton is truly the meter, mix, and dispense solution for almost any application.” Fluid Research also recently introduced other new dispensing equipment, acquired a new facility to triple their manufacturing floor space, acquired new management staff, and added a new material testing lab. Fluid Research is dedicated to educating its customers to the benefits of automation. From efficiency and consistency to health and safety, automation elevates these features to a level that cannot be obtained anywhere else. Fluid Research Corporation was founded in 1996 to provide superior accuracy in dispensing single and multiple component adhesives, sealants and polymers. The company currently holds multiple U.S. foreign patents for its proprietary technology, which uses progressing cavity pumps and sophisticated electronic controls in an extensive line of metering and dispensing systems. Typically custom-engineered to user specifications, Fluid Research equipment can be found in a wide variety of industries, including automotive components, aerospace fabrication, electronics, solar energy systems, electrical power systems, polymer molding, chemical fastening, dome labeling, health and beauty, medical electronics, sporting goods, and filtration equipment.
