Follow on Google News | Staunton, VA Used Car Dealer To Offer Refund Anticipation Loans In DecemberIn an effort to stimulate the local economy and spur used vehicle sales, Consumers Auto Warehouse has entered into an agreement with Valley Car Credit, LLC and Tax Refund Services to offer advances on expected tax refunds using a recent paystub.
By: Andrew J Wiley Andrew Wiley, Owner of Consumers Auto Warehouse, states the reasons for the program. "We knew there were a number of people out there who want or need to purchase another vehicle, but have been unable to do so because of new down payment requirements from many lenders. This program allows these consumers to use their tax refund now when they may need it the most." Tax Refund Services will provide tax prep and estimation services for the dealership. Consumers can find out their estimated refund using their most recent paycheck stub with year to date totals. Valley Car Credit will then lend a portion of the expected refund to the consumer for use as a down payment. Once the customer receives his W2 in 2010, he will complete the tax filing at the dealership and repay the loan. Experts indicate tax refunds may be at their highest this year due to a number of government stimulus programs. There are catch up provisions for consumers who missed the stimulus payment last year, expanded tax credits for lower incomes, first time home buyer credits and credits for purchasing vehicles. Combined, these credit may increase tax refunds up to $3000. Due to the expected response for this program, consumers will be required to pre-register at www.decemberrefund.com. Starting on or around December 1, 2009, registrants will be contacted to verify their eligibility and to begin the process. Again, you must pre-register for this program at www.decemberrefund.com. Consumers with questions about the program are urged to call the dealership at 877-942-2769. As Valley Car Credit has allocated a limited amount of funds for this program, applicants will be handled on a first come-first served basis. Once all the funds have been disbursed, consumers will have to wait until they receive their W2s in 2010 to receive their tax refunds. # # # Andrew Wiley is the owner of Consumers Auto Warehouse in Staunton, VA.
