Award-winning Record Producer Dino Maddalone Stars in November Episode of AS DARKNESS FALLS…

Nov. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Award-winning record producer Dino Maddalone stars in the latest episode of the horror anthology series “AS DARKNESS FALLS…, which premieres on November 20, 2009. Mr. Maddalone portrays a 1940’s swing band drummer who steals a forbidden Far East drum rhythm, only to learn the hideous consequences of his actions, while Ms. Heising co-stars as a woman from his past who desperately tries to stop him before it’s too late.

The 2009 L.A. Music Awards ‘Record Producer of the Year’, Mr. Maddalone is a renowned producer, composer and session drummer who owns his own state-of-the-art production studio in Torrance, CA. Mr. Maddalone was a recent guest of Dawna Lee. Heising on EOE, where he talked about his career, from its very beginnings up to his most recent project, a rock version of the hit song ‘I Wish’ with multi-platinum artist Skeelo. Also starring in ‘The Drums of Tcho Ktlan’ are “AS DARKNESS FALLS…” regulars Roque Cerda, Ronald Hough, Mackenzie Leighton, and Paul Reilly.

Series creator John C. Alsedek first developed the idea for “AS DARKNESS FALLS…” back in May of 2009, Mr. Alsedek explains. “I’ve always loved the anthology show format, and lament that it’s largely fallen by the wayside today. Until one day, the idea for “AS DARKNESS FALLS…” came to me- filming the shows as if they were staged radio plays. It’s a very cost-effective way of producing programs, and it has a definite retro charm about it.” Mr. Alsedek ultimately hopes to find a home for “AS DARKNESS FALLS…” either on PBS or in syndication.

In related news, it was also announced that singer/actress Dana M. Hayes will be starring in the December episode of AS DARKNESS FALLS…, entitled ‘Madeline’s Veil’. In it, Ms. Hayes plays a mourning torch singer with a horrifying secret.
