LUNAR Europe strengthens its Design Strategy unit

Nov. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- LUNAR Europe is expanding its design strategy activities. In Bastian Beate, the renowned Munich design company has found a seasoned director to head this important unit. The 35-year-old has gained many years of experience working in a similar function for well known international design agencies, developing and successfully implementing global design strategy projects for clients like Vodafone, Microsoft, Novartis, Carl Zeiss, Procter & Gamble and Leica.

LUNAR has been creating innovative product solutions for 25 years. Besides its classic core competencies – design and engineering – LUNAR also offers its clients strategic consulting on how to plan their products. In October, the Munich firm expanded its design strategy unit with the appointment of Basian Beate as head of division.

Roman Gebhard, one of LUNAR Europe’s two managing partners, is delighted to have gained such a competent addition to the team: “In our many talks with a range of very different companies, we’ve come to realise that there’s a great need for competent design strategy consulting.
